President's Day

Today is President's Day, so I am using the day off to catch up on cleaning, homework, and various other tasks. I received a pleasant surprise when Sean texted me and said he was being posted for duty at the Palm Desert mall. I drove right over to see him; since he works so much lately, I jump on literally any opportunity to see my man!

He says he needs to stay professional, but it's very hard for me to not give him a thousand kisses! How can you blame me? Just look at that face!

Even I got to take a photo with the ambulance. It's a special rig, the very last yellow ambulance in the Symon's arsenal.

I think the ambulance is cool, but nothing is better than my old Jeep, Stan. He might be on this side of 20 years old, but he sounds like a diesel truck and I adore him!

Sean had a couple free hours yesterday, so he decided to work on my old moped/motorcycle. It's been dead since 2007, or at least, that's when it was last registered.  Sean and our duplex-mate Andy worked on it together and got the old ('81) thing running! Unfortunately, Sean was burned sometime during that process. Poor baby.

I'm just so grateful for every second I get to share with this amazing guy.
