Trying to find fast and affordable ways to stay away from the more processed types of foods, Sean and I tested out this little trick. We got a $4 raw whole chicken at the grocery store, rinsed it, and placed it in the crock pot with no water and a little bit of spices on top. We set the heat on low and left it to sit overnight and voila! We have a gorgeous, fully cooked and delicious chicken ready to go for soups in the morning.
